Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage is a type of gentle bodywork that uses specific gentle, rhythmic movements to stimulate the lymphatic system.
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) techniques may be used as part of your osteopathic treatment or as a treatment on its own.
MLD may be used to assist with treatment and to enhance recovery from painful conditions such as frozen shoulder, chronic knee, ankle, wrist pain, rheumatoid arthritis and acute injuries by helping the lymph system to better de-congest and drain inflammation away from painful areas.
